1. The 100% Offline Guarantee
Our primary mission is to provide powerful tools that work entirely on your local machine.
- Applications: PurePixel, PrivateLabelQR, and other tools in our suite process all data (images, text, links) locally.
- No Cloud: We do not own, operate, or use any cloud servers to process your files. Your original data and processed results never leave your device.
2. Information Collection
- No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use our software.
- No Telemetry: Our applications do not contain hidden tracking code, analytics SDKs, or background telemetry. We do not monitor how you use the software.
- Website Usage: Our official website is a static landing page. We do not use cookies to track your browsing habits or collect personal data.
3. Microsoft Store & Payments
Our software is distributed exclusively through the Microsoft Store.
- Payments: All financial transactions, billing information, and In-App Purchases (IAP) are managed by Microsoft. PlainBytes Studio never sees or stores your credit card details.
- Licensing: Upon startup, our apps may communicate with Microsoft Store servers via encrypted system calls to validate your license status. This is a system-level process managed by Windows.
4. Permissions
Our apps request the minimum permissions necessary to function:
- File System: Used only to read files you select and save the processed results to your designated folders.
- Internet: Used solely for Microsoft Store license validation and checking for app updates.
5. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store your files on any remote servers, there is zero risk of your data being compromised through a breach of our infrastructure. The security of your local files is protected by your own computer's operating system.
6. Third-Party Links
Our website or software may contain links to external sites (such as GitHub or the Microsoft Store). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party platforms.
