Terms of Service

Welcome to PlainBytes Studio. By downloading or using our applications, including but not limited to PurePixel and PrivateLabelQR (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. License Grant

PlainBytes Studio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on devices running validly licensed versions of Windows 10 or 11. The Software is licensed, not sold.

2. Freemium Model & Purchases

• Free Version: We provide a version of the Software with limited features for trial purposes.
• Pro Version (IAP): Professional features are unlocked via a one-time In-App Purchase through the Microsoft Store.
• Transactions: All payments are processed and managed by Microsoft. We do not handle your billing information or credit card details.

3. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to, and will not permit others to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
• Bypass or circumvent any trial limits or license validation mechanisms.
• Distribute, rent, lease, or sell the Software to any third party.
• Modify or create derivative works based on the Software.

4. Privacy & Data Handling

Our Software is designed with a "Privacy-First" philosophy.

• Offline Processing: All core functions (image conversion, QR generation, etc.) are performed locally on your device.
• No Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit your files or personal identifiers to our servers.

5. Intellectual Property

All titles, including but not limited to copyrights, in and to the Software and any copies thereof are owned by PlainBytes Studio. The Software is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. PLAINBYTES STUDIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PlainBytes Studio be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, or loss of data) arising out of the use of or inability to use this product.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Software following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
